My country is Burma, and it allows voluntary military service, and i think thats good for the country because it gives choice to the country. Everyone is equal and everyone should be given a choice of whether they want to be part of the military or not. It is true that military service helps the country but if some one doesn't want to --- they shouldn't have to. Its good of Burma to make military service, voluntary.

I really liked your post… but when I read it, it made me wonder if you wanted to join the army, because you say that you think it is a good idea to enforce the army in that way! You gave good insight on your opinion and you did not site your source. (or did you use common sense?) Anyways… good post!
Nice post Sabei, I agree with you about how not mandatory army is a good thing. Everyone is equal and they should all be given the choice to join the army. There is no real need for army in Burma. It is obviously true that it is better for a country to have an army, but if you have someone who is not willing to join the army, or who isn’t physically up to par with such task, it might not be best for the army and might result into a waste of space.
